Wonder about Crocodile

First let us differentiate between crocodile and alligator

Difference between a crocodile and an alligator?
If you are not accustomed to their shape, look at
the mouth: crocodiles have a clearly visible the
fourth tooth on the lower jaw even when the mouth
is closed while alligators have a groove where that
tooth fits. Because crocodiles have salt glands inside
their mouths they can stand sea water, while alligators
cannot survive in ocean. Behaviorally, crocodiles
are more active and more aggressive than alligators,

and also less resistant to cold (alligators are found
in subtropical areas, crocodiles not). Crocodiles
are also covered in thick, scaly skin that acts like
armor. Depending on the species, they can reach
up to 15 feet in length, and some individuals may
live to be well over 100 years old.
These animals are also quite intelligent,
able to work in groups when necessary and to
patiently lie in wait for prey.
  • Crocodile eat meat and they have jaw carries 24 sharp teeth meant to grasp and crush, God those not allow them to chew. There are two stones that grind the food inside their stomachs and serve has digestion for them. The teeth are continuously replaced along the crocodile's life.

• Crocodiles can exert enormous pressure when closing their jaws, but the force for opening them is so weak, that an adhesive band is enough to keep a large crocodiles' jaw shut up. The jaws are so powerful and they sharp has pencil, when removing offspring from the nest. Still, beware at the tail: it inflicts powerful blows.

• Crocodile always stay at the bank of ocean and river leave their mouth open, that is not an aggressive posture, but a way to cooling their stomachs (what make it to be like that is that when that stones in their stomachs is grinding the foods it will produce heat )
• Crocodile cannot sweat through body they sweat through their mouth!

• If you turn on a lantern at night crocodiles, you will see shiny red dots. These are the crocodiles' eyes which have a layer called tapetum behind their retina, containing crystals that reflect light and make possible for Crocodiles to see clearly at night.
